This is a practical craft level course which provides a good introduction for those wishing to enter horticulture and interested in working within the Horticultural Landscape Sector. It covers a range of practical skills and associated theory to equip students with many of the skills needed to work within horticulture or move on to further study.

Work is possible within the Horticultural Landscape sector either for private or commercial landscape companies. The course will enable progression to other areas within the horticultural industry, such as private or public gardens or to self employment.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course however learners must show an enthusiasm and commitment to the subject at interview and provide acceptable references. Entrants need to show commitment to complete the academic programme which includes assignments and a multiple choice examination.
