Famous Visitors

The Equine Centre.

2009 Badminton and Burghley winner Oliver Townend and Former Olympian and Nations Cup team member Geoff Billington brought their fantastic 'Champions Tour' to Bishop Burton Arena and wowed a capacity crowd with hints, tips, tricks and plenty of anecdotes.

The Centre has also been the setting for British Eventing and British Show Jumping Pony Team Training and the Bishop Burton Arena was the first venue for the European Selection Trials for British Equestrian and Vaulting Teams.

Other visitors to the centre have included Olympic gold medalists and eventing superstar Mark Todd, who journeyed to Bishop Burton with Yogi Briesner to deliver the annual British Evening Coaches Conference. This year we are looking forward to welcoming Emile Faurie, Blyth Tait and RIchard Davison for a variety of lecture demonstrations.

This October we are very proud to host Monty Roberts, award winning trainer of championship horses and the original horsewhisperer.
