The Programme

This programme is specifically designed to train students to go onto positions of responsibility within the sports and adventure industry. Emphasis will be placed on the integration of knowledge and practical skills to enables students to face the challenges presented by an increasingly complex and diverse sports and adventure management sector.

The course specialises in the development of practical and coaching skills and experience in outdoor activities or sports such as canoeing, kayaking, climbing, mountain walking, camping, archery, football, gym and fitness instruction. Opportunity is given to acquire specialist qualifications from the following: National governing bodies: BCU, MLTE, GNAS and RYA.
