Planning & Development

This degree is a first for the College in that it was developed in partnership with East Riding of Yorkshire Council and in many ways it represents what may be described as ‘best practice’ in Foundation Degree development and delivery.

Courses Available

In recognition of this, the programme has recently received endorsement by Foundation Degree Forward.

  • Foundation Degree in Planning and Development (FdA)
  • BA Planning and Development

The programme is particularly focussed towards those in planning support
services in local authority and Government agency planning offices related to
town and country planning. The work-based nature of this course means that
much of the learning will be carried out in the workplace through the use of
work-based projects and mentors, thus enabling the technical and academic
upgrading for staff who are making a career in planning and development.
