Land Based Engineering

For over half a century the College has been developing new and innovative courses in land-based engineering. The College has superb facilities, including large well-equipped workshops and welding shops along with an extensive range of machinery and equipment.

  • Intermediate and Advanced Apprenticeships in Land-Based Service Engineering
  • Level 1 and 2 in Performing Engineering Operations (PEO)
  • Level 2 Diploma Land-Based Technology
  • Level 3 Extended Diploma in Land-Based Technology

The College also works in partnership with tractor and equipment manufacturers to provide realistic hands-on experience on the very latest technology.People who work within land-based engineering can follow careers that include working as fitters, mechanics, technicians, service receptionists, equipment sales and manufacturing to name just a few of the opportunities available. The Apprenticeship programmes also offer opportunities for careers in the Construction Plant Industry.
