This Final Year programme reflects the breadth and creative potential of contemporary floristry design practice, providing a balanced approach to floristry design theory, research and practical application. The course allows students to explore in depth an identified theme relevant to floristry design practice, including a self-directed final project and dissertation.

Special Features

Students are encouraged to explore the full potential of their own creativity on an individualised programme tailored to meet their personal needs as floristry designers. They will respond as designers to environmental themes and consider the mechanisms of the marketplace. They will meet the challenges of project management individually and collaboratively in a live context. They will apply concepts and principles in exciting and innovative new frameworks and relationships, pursuing their own areas of interest and involvement and realising their personal preferences and aspirations as floristry designers.

Take up career opportunities in a range of areas within the Floristry Design industry (including retail floristry, floral decoration, interior design, event design, etc) or take advantage of self-employment and fee-earning opportunities.

Entry Requirements

A relevant Foundation Degree (or related HND at merit level) or Ordinary Degree or relevant 'life experience' will laos be taken into account when considering applications from mature students.
