Special Features
All students have the opportunity to receive tuition in equitation and take part in College riding team competitions. Students may also wish to take British Horse Society qualifications alongside the academic course to enhance their vocational skills and equine career options.

Subject to a satisfactory performance and successful completion, students may progress onto the BSc (Hons) in Equine Business Management. There are also many opportunities for students to work in the equine industry as equestrian centre managers, yard managers, equine administrators and lecturers. Positions available after further training include sales executives, journalists, bloodstock agents and marketing officers. The skills acquired within this programme are also transferable to many other business related careers.
Entry Requirements
Successful applicants are normally expected to have a minimum of 120 UCAS points at Advanced Level (60 at A2) or Level 3 Extended Diploma or Equivalent plus satisfactory reference plus other any specific criteria agreed at validation. Life experience will also be taken in to account when considering applications from mature students. In the interests of widening participation admissions tutors have discretion to admit applicants with lower qualifications if they can show that they are likely to be successful on the course and an admissions assessment may be used in certain circumstances.
