Special Features
These innovative three year courses are a unique way of accessing Higher Education for students that have gone down the non-traditional route. The first year of study is designed to fully prepare students for the final two years of the course at higher education level. Throughout all years of the course strong vocational skills are developed via Work-Based learning modules.

Subject to a successful completion, students may progress onto the BSc (Hons) in their specified chosen discipline. There are also many opportunities for students to work in the equine industry as centre managers, instructors, practitioners and competition riders. The skills acquired within this programme are also transferable to many other careers.
Entry Requirements
Applicants would normally be expected to have a minimum of 4 GCSE A-C grades and be aged 18 or over. However we do encourage applications from mature students who may not have the formal qualifications but do have life or relevant industrial/commercial experience and/or those returning to study who wish to prepare for Higher Education learning.
