Higher Education Courses - How to apply
The first rule is that "it's never too early to apply". You can apply at any time of the year, but the best time is the autumn term the year before you leave school.
You can apply directly on-line by clicking the Apply Online for all our Higher Education Part-Time Courses This button can be found next to each course detail sheet here on the website or you can complete the application form supplied within our printed prospectus.
For all Full Time Higher Education Courses, you must apply through UCAS at the follwing address; www.ucas.com.
Once we have received your application we will arrange for you to meet one of the course team for an informal interview. and you will be shown around the College.
Advice
If you are not sure either which course is right for you, or what area you want to study then we are happy to meet with you for an informal chat. Parents are welcome to come along to this meeting as well. To arrange an advisory chat, either get in touch through our contact page or telephone the College on 0800 731 82 81.

Age
The minimum age for entry on to the programmes in this prospectus is 18 years. Some courses have additional age restrictions. These are shown in the course entry requirements.
Overseas Students
Bishop Burton College extends a particularly warm welcome to applicants from overseas. Overseas students should make applications directly to the College. Your local British Council Office or British Embassy can provide you with further details and general advice. Where possible overseas applicants should consult the British Council's Education Information Service, which will give advice on courses and application procedures. We will request different entry requirements for overseas students. You will need to show us that you have proficiency in English, and the qualifications that would be necessary to gain a place at a home university. We define proficiency in English as a minimum of 550 points in a TOEFL test, a minimum score of 6 in a British Council ELTS test, or a GCSE at grade C or above. The College asks that overseas students provide proof of sufficient funds to cover living expenses and fees before leaving their home country.
