Fisheries Management
The College is pleased to offer these nationally recognised qualifications designed specifically for people who want a career in fisheries, fish farming and related industries. An added advantage is the applied scientific study embedded in the courses and the use of science facilities at the College which are second-to-none, allowing in-depth study into areas such as water quality. Students joining these courses will benefit from being involved with our brand new fish production unit

Everyday will be different... you may be working with river keepers at Driffield, Kelk or Foston to keep aquatic vegetation under control or you may be carrying out a river fly survey for the Environmental Agency and Natural History Museum or working alongside staff from East Yorks Chalk Rivers Trust. Back at College, you could be gaining business knowledge in the classroom; analysing aquatic bugs in our science laboratories or checking water filtration in our fish production unit.
