Live projects are at the heart of the delivery of all our programmes. Through these our students get to grips with real world issues and address the needs of communities, user groups and clients. Students are presented with exciting opportunities to develop in their own creative direction, responding as individuals to the challenges of a design brief, visualising concepts and turning their ideas into reality on time and within budget.

Facilities

Teaching spaces provide students with a range of dedicated, modern, well-equipped learning environments. This includes a Computer Aided Design room, Fashion and Clothing and Design studios and an industry-standard iMac suite. Studios are equipped with projectors and interactive whiteboards. ICT access within the department allows students to develop ideas and outcomes and to undertake the critical, contextual and other research demanded by practical projects.
